Mental Acuity
Sharpen your cognition to excel in a competitive world.
Release what's stuck. Rewire how you respond.
A revolutionary cognitive movement system that utilizes the eyes and nervous system to create lasting change in the patterns and beliefs that may be hindering your potential — addressing chronic concerns quickly and lastingly by stimulating auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learning across both brain hemispheres.
Cognomovement integrates aspects of EFT, EMDR, and energy healing, using a specialized ball to enhance hemispheric stimulation and signal transfer through the corpus callosum — the brain structure that integrates sensory, motor, and cognitive function.
The result is cohesive perception, movement, and thinking — and a body that can finally let go of what's been keeping it stuck.
Maybe recurring emotional patterns are affecting your well-being, health, career, or relationships. Or maybe you've made progress but hit a plateau. Cognomovement clears entrenched patterns in the body — often leaving a newfound neutrality toward the issue, and releasing the emotional charge that drains your focus.
Sharpen your cognition to excel in a competitive world.
Build the fortitude to meet life's challenges with grace.
Ignite a vibrant energy that touches every part of life.
Develop deeper bonds and stronger connections everywhere.
Elevate your awareness and unlock a higher level of consciousness.
At its core, Cognomovement is a nervous-system-based approach. Using movement, focused attention, and visual tracking, sessions shift how your system processes stress — often bringing immediate relief and long-term resilience. Many people find support with:
Cognomovement combines several well-studied tools — bilateral eye movements, breathwork, tapping, ear acupressure, and cross-body movement — into one session. The full method hasn't been through large clinical trials yet, but each technique inside it has published, peer-reviewed research. Here's what the studies show.
What the research found — at a glance
Findings from published studies on the individual techniques. Details and links below.
In a 30-day randomized trial, a few minutes of slow-paced breathing each day improved how well people said they slept, and raised overnight vagal (rest-and-digest) activity.
Laborde et al., 2019 →Just 30 seconds of side-to-side eye movements improved people's recall of what they'd learned, compared with keeping their eyes still.
Christman et al., 2003 →Five minutes a day of cyclic sighing improved mood and lowered breathing rate, more than mindfulness meditation did. In a separate randomized trial, an hour of tapping (EFT) lowered cortisol, the stress hormone, more than talk therapy or rest.
Balban et al., 2023 →Brain scans show guided eye movements quiet the amygdala, the brain's alarm center, making it easier to let go of a fear response. During eye-movement sets, heart rate drops and the calming (rest-and-digest) nervous system switches on, a pattern researchers compare to REM sleep.
de Voogd et al., 2018 →Gentle pressure on specific points of the ear is a simple, non-invasive way to settle an overactive stress response. A systematic review of controlled studies found ear-point therapy reduced stress and anxiety in working professionals.
Munhoz et al., 2022 →A meta-analysis found that adding eye movements while recalling a distressing memory made it less vivid and less emotionally charged — evidence that eye movements play a real role in how EMDR works. A review of 24 randomized trials supports EMDR, which Cognomovement draws from, for emotional trauma.
Lee & Cuijpers, 2013 →The World Health Organization recommends EMDR, which Cognomovement draws from, for trauma in adults, teens, and children. A meta-analysis of tapping (EFT) also found a significant drop in anxiety.
WHO, 2013 →Researchers found breathing and attention are linked through the locus coeruleus, the brain's alertness center — one reason controlling your breath can sharpen your focus.
Melnychuk et al., 2018 →In a randomized trial of 7- to 11-year-olds, regular physical activity improved executive function (planning and focus) and math achievement.
Davis et al., 2011 →Research coming soon — ask us what we're seeing in practice.

These studies looked at the individual techniques, not Cognomovement itself. Cognomovement supports wellness and nervous system regulation and is not a treatment for any medical or mental health condition.
